The Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa Florida Commissioned a large 11 foot by 5 foot wall mural of Dan's work on custom materials stretched on a larger stretcher bar. Dan personally handmade the oversized stretcher bar and received praise from a master wood craftsman, noting the large stretcher frame was square within a 1/32" "virtually impossible for such a large frame".
Dan has extensive experience in DIY Solar Projects and has built several solar furnaces that harness the power of the sun creating heat in excess of 3000 degrees fahrenheit melting concrete, glass and zinc. Dan is expanding his fish series to include "METAL FISH" cast in zinc that is melted using the power of only concentrated sunlight. The zinc is poured into molds of plaster cast from hand sculpted clay originals.
Currently Dan and his wife Denise are using their previous skills as Screen Actors Guild actors creating a reality DIY Television Show around the "GREEN ENERGY" movement for National Syndication. Also nearing completion are their entries in the Virgin EARTH CHALLENGE and the installation of equipment for their Independent Film Studio.
Dan's "ANIMAL COMPASSION" series (currently sold out) was specifically designed to raise funds for local animal rescue organizations. Hurricane Katrina expanded the mission; "ANIMAL COMPASSION" has now gained National recognition raising funds for:

Dan Rojas was recently commissioned by the largest animal disaster relief organizations in the world to create three original acrylic on canvas paintings for their home office in California Reproductions of these works are being sold as fundraiser items.
Dan is also a professional writer with screenplays under submission, has been a professional photographer for over 20 years experienced in 4x5, medium format, 35mm, and digital mediums. Up to 2002, Dan was one of the leading photo restoration artist / photoshop experts in the nation editing over 12,000 photographic images for 350 one hour labs throughout the United States and Canada, including CPI Photo, Fox Photo, Wolf Camera, Ritz Camera and Eastman Kodak.
