Emily Burts got involved with visual arts at a young age, exploring a variety of subject matter through painting, photography and design. Since moving to Tampa in 2003, Emily's work has been influenced heavily by her love of kayaking and passion for Florida's unique environment.

Originally from Columbus, GA, Emily graduated from the College of Charleston in SC with degrees in Art History and Studio Art. After 3 years working as an Art Consultant in a Charleston gallery, Emily is currently the Art Collection Curator at Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg. She most recently exhibited her photography at Boyd Hill Nature Park's Art Arbor Festival.
