Francesco was born in Arkon, Ohio in 1974. In addition to his formal education at Akron University and University of Tampa, his inborn artistic abilities were nurtured by his independent study of Italian art in Italy. Francesco found his passion in abstract art when his family relocated from Ohio to Florida.
In his art, Francesco reflects a fierce freedom. His works are visceral and fiercely emotional. He is inspired by daily events, emotions, and music.
He expresses his feelings through bright colors and hidden objects. Francesco paints in a small studio with little space and visual effect. The invisible hand of an indescribable muse motivates his art.
Francesco's art has found universal admirers in the United States and Europe. He has appeared in one man and group shows throughout the country.
In addition, Francesco does his best to promote the arts in the community. Francesco invests considerable time in The Group of Gala Corina, underground Tampa artists working to further the arts in the Tampa Bay area. This group was formed by 10 people having differing artistic interests, but sharing a passion for finding beauty, harmony, truth, and purity of expression in all forms of art.
Francesco currently works and resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife and son. Private collections in Europe and the United States house some of Francesco's art.
